We recommend using public transport to reach us.

London Underground

Take the westbound District Line. The closest tube stations are Southfields (15 minutes walk or 5 minutes on the 493 bus headed toward St George's Hospital) and Wimbledon (20 minutes walk or 10 minutes on the 493 bus headed towards Richmond, Manor Circus.)

During The Championships, the London General shuttle bus service departs from Wimbledon Station and goes directly to to the All England Club. Alternatively, you can walk or take a taxi.

Train

There is a regular train service from London (Waterloo) to Wimbledon Station. In addition many other long distance trains call at Wimbledon from stations such as Portsmouth, Havant, Winchester, Southampton, Bournemouth, Poole, Basingstoke, Andover, Salisbury and Exeter. At Wimbledon Station board the connecting London General shuttle bus service direct to the grounds. Buses depart about every five minutes.

Buses (Championships only)

London General operates a shuttle bus service direct to The Championships from Wimbledon Station. The service runs all day until late evening. This is not a free service. There will be a mobility service from Southfields Station.

Following consultation with visitors and in support of our aim to reduce traffic congestion along Wimbledon Park Road to create a more pleasant arrival experience at The Championships, the shuttle bus service from Southfields has been suspended on a trial basis.

Please note: London buses do not take cash.  Please ensure you have the appropriate travel card, oyster card or contactless payment method if you wish to travel by bus. Please visit the TFL website for further information.

The move replicates the walking experience at the London Olympics which proved so popular. Walking times are approximately as follows:

- 5 minutes to the entrance to Wimbledon Park where the Queue is located.

- 15 minutes to the Grounds (Gate 1).

London General also operates a bus service direct from St Pancras, Euston, Baker Street, Marble Arch and Victoria to The Championships, departing every 30 minutes.

For enquiries call: 0208 545 6100/6110 or visit londongeneral.co.uk.

Tram

Trams run every 5 minutes from East Croydon station to Wimbledon (see below) station during the day on Monday to Saturday, and once every 7/8 minutes on Sundays and early mornings/evenings.

This service takes around 26 minutes. Visit tfl.gov.uk for more information.
